The pins will be monitored with an oscilloscope. In part 2, amotor will be connected to motor driver output pins. The pulse width will be changedthrough the GERTBOARD switches. The speed of the motor will change based on thepulse width of the GPIO signal.ProcedurePart 11. Log into the Raspberry Pi, at the command prompt key in startx. OpenLXTerminal, then Python. From the Python Shell top menu, click FILE/NEWWINDOW. Key in the program below.The program will load the sleep function for time delay and the GPIO module.The switches on the GERTBOARD will be used to control a DC motor usingPulse Width Modulation. Pin 17 will be initialized to output the PWM signal. S1will start the PWM signal, S2 and S3 will change the Duty Cycle of the PWMsignal as well as the monitor display.
