Full Inclusion Ministry Paper Instructions
You will create a full inclusion plan for a ministry program in a fictional church (based on a real local church) that specifically addresses a hypothetical child with special needs who is already active in the church’s children’s ministry program. Select a disability which interests you or with which you feel called to work. Use the textbook and peer-reviewed research to address the following areas in relation to the disability: etiology, prevalence, characteristics, prognosis, current research, and social dynamics. Discuss the current church and children’s ministry (including a mission statement); required elements; the specific disability chosen; and how you will work with the family to set, measure, and assess goals at the child and program level. Outline a 1-year and a 5-year plan for the growth of the ministry, including 3–5 measurable goals and a plan for evaluating those goals.
