Poetry Writing Assignment
Directions: Write your own original poem, following these rules:
- Your poem should be written in free verse – this means you are not bound by a specific set of rules, rhyme scheme, meter, or rhythm. ***Your poem can rhyme if you want it to, but you do not have to follow a specific pattern.***
- Your poem must be at least 10 lines long.
- You must incorporate at least 3 of the following literary/poetic devices:
